Midterm Conference Questions
1. Review Hart's Ladder of Youth Participation. Explain the progression of youth and adult actions at your service site during the first semester, set a goal for youth initiated activities during the second semester, and develop an action plan for achieving that goal. Remember that goal you develop must be specific, measurable, attainable, reasonable, and time bound. |
2. Reflect upon the Maltz Musuem's Stop the Hate Youth Speak Out competition, as well as Ms. Krieger's presentation. Describe an act of oppression or injustice that you experienced or witnessed (acts of racism, discrimination or hate based on race, gender, religion or other reasons), and share how this changed you, and helped you lead others to change in a positive way.
