LEAVING A LEGACY
In lieu of a traditional final exam, students are asked to think deeply about the relationship between course content and their service experiences and ultimately create a product for the PSL Student Anthology. This product will serve as the basis for a formal end-of-year presentation.
The PSL Student Anthology product and presentation help PSL instructors to assess the outcome of students' academic and service experiences. Moreover, in the process of reviewing their PSL experience, students recognize how it affected their understandings, values, capabilities, and goals and are better prepared to articulate specific skills gained to undergraduate programs and prospective employers.
