Innovative Schools Field Trip
On Tuesday, November 15th seven students in the PSL program will travel to Willoughby-Eastlake's School of Innovation (SOI) as part of their study of education and education reform. Students will have the opportunity to meet with the principal of SOI, tour the school, and see STEM education in action. Students will also observe classrooms to see how the social climate, intellectual climate, rules/policies, traditions/routines, work habits, and relationships between students, parents, and staff impact student outcomes. This experience is open to all PSL students. Students who are volunteering in a classroom setting or with an interest in the filed of education are encouraged to participate. The tour departs the PSL Center for Civic Engagement at 10:45 a.m. return by 2:45 p.m.
