Monday, May 4: Both PSL Honors and Regular students should photograph an environmental benefit or burden in Northeast Ohio and submit it following the guidelines below. Your photo and accompanying caption/reflection is your "exam" grade for this unit.

- Review winning photos from past PSL students for ideas.
- Review requirements for the photo that you take and the rubric that will be used to score it.
- Submit photo using the online form, paying careful attention to the requirements for caption and impact statement.

- How does this film relate to our study of environmental justice and environmental benefits and burdens?

Monday, April 20th - Watch the documentary "One Nation, Overdosed", which reveals the stories of addicts and their families, while also investigating programs and policies that lead to complicated, but critical conversations. In a Google doc that you share with Mrs. Trentanelli, summarize the work of one government organization and one non-profit organization that is engaging in activities to meet the needs of their community. Evaluate whether each group is working for justice or charity and, assess how their efforts might make a difference in our own community. Make sure to use specific and detailed evidence from the documentary to build your response.

Distilled information gathered into keepsake memory book for the senior citizen and their family. (Note: You may claim between 3-5 hours for this activity).
