Rubric Focus Area - Revision Activity
Mark Twain is credited with saying, "Writing is easy. All you have to do is cross out the wrong words." For some of us, that statement is abundantly true. For others, getting any words on screen can feel like a monumental challenge. Wherever you are in the writing process, there are limitless opportunities for us to grow and evolve in our craft.
For this activity, you will select one area you would like to focus on as you revise your essay. Once you select your focus area, watch the 2-3 minute tutorial or read the handout presented by the Writing Center at UNC, and complete the formative assessment below. Not only will this activity help you better manage a writing challenge you have, it will also provide you with at least one opportunity to directly apply your learning to your essay.
