Memory/Memoir 1. Take reading check quiz. 2. Watch excerpt from The Glass Castle (2018) and compare the way the movie depicts Jeannette's escape from the hospital to the way the text captures the same moment. 2. Review the definitions of memoir and vignette. 3. Continue closely reading The Glass Castle. Key scenes to consider include pages 35, 39-41, 56, 65-66, and 70-71. Traditional PSL - Students will be completing a "one pager" analysis that addresses on of the essential questions. Honors PSL - Students will be completing a comparative analysis that addresses a theme that exists in both The Glass Castle and The Other Wes Moore.
