Art As Activism & Photographer Tips
Today's lesson features photographs from PSL alumni to illustrate how art can be used as a form of activism. Students will study techniques to improve their photos including simplicity, shooting from low angles, showing depth, aligning subjects diagonally, shooting from the level of the subject, shadows, silhouettes, reflections, symmetry, and editing.

Activity Two
Review other winning photographs from PSL alumni and begin to brainstorm possible subjects for the photograph you will take.
